After introducing drag & drop editing to the system 9 years ago, it is still one of our favourite time-saving features. Designed to look and feel like a spreadsheet, it's easy to learn and a great way to speed up your scheduling.
Drag & drop editing on Findmyshift is the same as you might find in other applications; using your mouse you select, drag and then drop an item to make a change. To start, select a shift with the left mouse button, and while holding down the left mouse button, drag the item to another cell.
TIP: If you want to make a copy of the item instead of moving it, hold down the Shift key until you have dropped it.
In addition to shifts, you can also drag & drop your employees in the same way, allowing you to change the order of your employees on your schedule.
