We don’t believe so.
Different apps will suit different businesses. Findmyshift may be the best for some companies and not others.
We’re ok with that. We want businesses to find tools that work for them. But we do believe that our app is the best choice for plenty of organisations, particularly small businesses.
In part, that is because of the ease of use of our tool. This was a key part of the user experience we wanted to build. Creating rotas should be straightforward and our interface reflects that.
As such, it’s great to see that Findmyshift was recognised earlier this year as the ‘best minimalist employee scheduling app that's easy to use’ by Zapier.

Fast, intuitive scheduling
We’re not here to pretend that scheduling employees is anybody’s favourite job. We know it’s one of those things that needs to be done, and done well, but that most managers also want to get out of the way as quickly as possible.
So we designed a rota builder that people would already understand how to use. Why should you take time learning a new tool when you can achieve great results with something that feels familiar?
Our drag and drop scheduler is just like editing a spreadsheet, albeit one with additional helpful features that is already set up for scheduling! The tool recognises shift times and uses these for reminders and reporting.
Creating a shift is as simple as entering times into a cell! Our keyboard shortcuts make it easier to duplicate and reuse shifts as well. Reusable templates mean you can create weeks of schedules in just minutes of your time.
Need to adapt your rota? That can be a pain, but not with Findmyshift. Editing cells is just as straightforward, and you can even edit multiple cells at once if you need to make wholesale changes at once.
Native integrations with other essential apps
If you do need to add another tool to your suite of enterprise solutions, you at least want it to work alongside the ones you’re already using. We’re not going to pretend that we are at the scale of apps like Slack just yet!
That’s why we’ve worked hard to develop a host of useful native integrations with other productivity and management tools.
We have made it easy to use Findmyshift alongside Slack, as well as other tools like Google, Xero, People, Monday, and Square. Our aim? To make scheduling such a simple, integrated part of your routine that you barely even notice it.
With even more connections in the works, including QuickBooks, it’s going to be easier than ever to bring your data from other apps for fast, effective scheduling.
Built-in messaging and reminders
It’s no good creating a great schedule if you then have to go through a lot of trouble to tell people about it. That’s why our messaging features are designed with the same goal in mind: achieving quick and easy results with intuitive functionality.
Whether it’s automatic shift reminders to reduce no shows or emails and text when rotas are updated, there’s a host of fast ways to get in touch with your employees.
They’ll also always have access to the latest version of the schedule wherever they are, thanks to calendar integrations, a live site, and our mobile app.
Unlimited messages, birthday reminders, and a team notice board are just some of the extras that help to further enhance the experience for you and your staff.
Easy for employees too
Talking of employees, we are fully aware that even the best scheduling app would fall down if staff couldn’t, or wouldn’t, use it! Findmyshift is also designed to be a piece of cake to use from the ‘other’ side.
They have multiple ways to view the latest rota and their shifts, and can even put in requests to swap or cancel shifts with just a few clicks.
Depending on your setup, you or another designed time off manager can review requests and approve or deny them just as easily.
We recognise, as Zapier said, that Findmyshift lacks some of the more advanced features of other solutions. But who wants to be bogged down in scheduling? We believe getting a good rota out should be a quick and painless task—our tool reflects that.
